Dunn County Fair Update

Another Dunn County Fair Is in the Books — Now We Want to Hear From You!

Another Dunn County Fair is wrapped up and in the books, and now we want to hear from YOU!

The Dunn County Fair takes months of planning and many moving pieces to make it happen. It includes the help of incredible people, volunteers, and community partners. Most importantly, it takes all of you who show up every year to support and participate in the Fair — whether in an event, at the carnival, playing games, enjoying the food, or simply coming out to be part of the community.

Each year, after the Fair is over and we look back, we also want to look forward to planning next year. What worked well? What can we do better? What would you like to see added, brought back, changed, or introduced as something new?

Share Your Fair Feedback

We’ve put together a short Dunn County Fair Feedback Assessment, and we’re asking the community to take a couple of minutes to share their thoughts on this year’s Fair.

Your Voice Matters

Help us understand what worked, what could be improved, and what you would like to see at future Dunn County Fairs.

There Are a Couple Things We Already Know…

We know the extreme heat during this year’s Fair had a significant impact on overall attendance, activities, and the overall experience. Unfortunately, we cannot plan for Mother Nature.

We also know there have been questions and suggestions regarding the weekend the Fair is held. Fair dates aren’t quite as simple as choosing the weekend we think works best. We wish it were that easy!

The biggest factor is carnival availability. Carnivals have a very busy and limited season, which means we must coordinate our dates with their availability to be in Dunn County. We realize the date is not ideal, but it is the weekend that coordinates with the carnival’s route.

That doesn’t mean other dates are off the table. We continue to do everything possible to coordinate and find other potential dates.

We want your feedback on that too. If there is a different time during the summer that would make you more likely to attend, let us know! Your responses help us understand what matters most to you and the community.

Why Your Feedback Matters

Every year, our goal is to improve from the year before. We can’t assume we know what is important to you. We want to ask, listen, and learn from your feedback.

Whether you came for all three days, stopped by for an event, participated in a competition, came for the carnival rides or meals, or could not attend this year, we still want to hear from you.

Please be candid with your responses. Constructive feedback — both positive and negative — helps us make better decisions as we begin planning the 2027 Fair.

Finally, Thank You!

Thank you to everyone who attended, participated, sponsored, donated, and worked diligently to help plan, prepare, set up, clean up, work during the Fair, and support the Fair in any way.

We look forward to hearing from you about your ideas, thoughts, and willingness to help us continue improving the Fair experience every year.

Help Shape the 2027 Fair
